saving in dxf-format

saving in dxf-format

Hello,

I`m new to this softeare and I could not find a clear answer to my qusestion: is it possible to sve a drawing to the dxf-format so that you have a file called "name.dxf", for example?

Hi and Welcome cadio

File > save as > files of type > choose dxf >name your file - e.g QCAD, then save to your location.When you save your file the extension .dxf will ba addad, e.g -QCAD.dxf

You can also click on the icons - "save" or "save as" to open up the "save drawing as" dialog window!
