How do I draw a line of certain length along another line?

Post by mmasroorali » Tue Feb 14, 2012 3:39 am

Let us say that I have a line AB, not necessarily horizontal or vertical. Now from end B, I want do draw another line of certain length along BA.

I know that I will use snap at end when start, and snap along the line to finish. But how do I ensure that the length is correct?

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

"Snap" - "Distance from Endpoint" might be what you are looking for. It snaps to points on entities with a given distance to an endpoint.
