Problems with dxf-Files from Inventor 2008

Hello,
first of all I have to tell you that I installed qcad on a customer's machine and I don't have any cad-knowledge.
My customer now has the above mentioned problem.
In a dxf-file from inventor 2008 the layer with the yardsticks is not shown.
Checking all layers (visible/not visible) doesn't lead to any result.
Other layers are correct.
Has anyone an idea what to do ?
The data in my signature is from my customer's PC.
