QCAD 2.2.2.0 inactive after a load/save operation

QCAD version: 2.2.2.0
The program randomly becomes blocked after a mass storage operation (Load, Save, Save As). When this occurs, the computer needs to be restarted completely, just killing the application and restarting QCAD again is not enough.
