Hello from Oregon

My name is Mark and I am from Portland, Oregon.

I practice residential design, specifically renovation projects with growing attention to site development as well. Much of my time is researching better ways to integrate a permaculture practice into my work with homeowners/homesteaders. My background in architecture included many years using PowerCADD on a Mac. My current workflow has been centered on the SketchUp + Layout suite, but lacking adequate 2D cad support. After many, many attempts with other applications, primarily FreeCad and Draftsight, I am so excited to have found QCAD so intuitive and very familiar to my older workflow!

Andrew, and others, thank you so much for the effort you have put into creating and maintaining QCAD. I expect to be on the forums increasingly in the future and look forward to offering my two cents to help others.
