Hi all
I am from Germany working for a city council. I am thinking about using QCAD for private purposes. I still need to figure out if my computer is good enough for QCAD. Therefore my first question to the forum would be the following:
What are the minimum requirements for a PC so that QCAD - 2D CAD can be installed/used? Which processor (e.g. the i5 series from Intel), which RAM (e.g. 16 GB), which storage (e.g. 512 GB) and which graphics card is sufficient for this? Do I even need a separate graphics card?
I would be grateful if anybody could tell me where in the forum I can get an answer to this question.
Many thanks in advance and kind regards,
Peter

Re: Hi from Germany
Hello Peter,
For info, I have been running QCAD Pro for a long time under Win7-64, I7-3.4 GHz, RAM 16Go
Biggest issue could be with very large files (several Meg)...
You can try the program with the free variant and see for yourself.
