getting started

Hello from The Netherlands,
I have used ACAD for quite a while, however the old version I have does not run anymore on my new computer. After trying several alternatives I ended up with QCAD which shows similarities with ACAD to a certain degree. I am now trying to familiarize with QCAD.
Primairily I will be using QCAD to support my engineering when building small woorden boats.
