Introducing myself - Model Engineer beginner

Post by holmside » Fri Apr 01, 2016 1:35 pm

I am new CAD user and was highly recommended QCAD as a friendly easy to learn system. So far so good...and learning loads. I am new to model engineering and I am using QCAD to draw up some parts for laser cutting. I know the traditionalists may not be impressed at using laser cutting - but my sawing and filing skills are still quite rudimentary.
The book that Andrew has produced is a real boon - written in easy language and beats hours of wasted time.
