Hola!
I use Qcad from 6 moths ago. I work in the electrical engineering department of a University of Valladolid (Spain) and we want to replace expensive software packages by open source solutions. I use Qcad basically to make designs and electrical lines drawings.

Hi Everyone,

I have read lot about QCAD and great things that can be done.

I am in glazing business and I want to develop web based software where the glazier can choose from list of templates and input measurement on the sketch or drawings and send the order to the glass processing company for his order.

By doing so the glazier will save lot of time and orders can be submitted to the supplier of the glass on real time.

Glass processor uses CNC machines to cut glass and do cut out on glass too. I am sure from what I have read this is possible using QCAD to output DXF files.

Please email me at [email protected] if anyone has worked on similar project

Once again thanks to everyone

Best Regards
Jag
