Crash in ig4icd32.dll during start up

From a QCAD/CAM user:
My QCAD/CAM installation under Windows crashes during start up in ig4icd32.dll.

ig4icd32.dll is related to OpenGL and it looks like the Qt people are aware of this problem which seems to be related to a particular graphics card:

Their suggested workaround is to set the environment variable QT_OPENGL to force the application to use angle instead of desktop OpenGL:

QT_OPENGL=angle

Alternatively, you can also disable OpenGL altogether (and lose the 3D CAM simulation widget of QCAD/CAM) by deleting the respective QCAD plugin of your QCAD/CAM installation under:

plugins\qcadgles3d.dll
