On my fully updated Mac M1, I downloaded the newest M1/M2 3.28.2
To install a community edition, you need to download, install and then delete some files. The Dialog says:
To remove this add-on, please delete the following plugin files:
plugins/libqcaddwg.dylib
plugins/libqcadpdf.dylib
plugins/libqcadpolygon.dylib
plugins/libqcadproj.dylib
plugins/libqcadproscripts.dylib
plugins/libqcadshp.dylib
plugins/libqcadspatialindexpro.dylib
plugins/libqcadtrace.dylib
But, when libqcadpolygon.dylib is removed, the application will not start!
Why can't I just download a working community version, instead of this deleting files and hope it works. Could someone please fix the issue, or even better, make a "Don't use the plugins that needs a payed license, use community edition plugins only" function within the application.
Will not start on Mac M1 after removing plugins

Re: Will not start on Mac M1 after removing plugins
Note: the macOS package for M1/M2 using Qt 6 cannot be changed into the QCAD Community Edition due to proprietary plugins needed for this platform.
