Hello all,
I'm new to QCAD and am working on QCAD community edition on Windows 11.
My problem is, that I can't change/modify lines, or objects that I created. For example when I draw a line, I don't have the blue dots on each end of the line, to change it's length or angle. I simply just have the line and that's it. But I know from YouTube tutorials, that there should be blue dots at the end or corners of objects.
I can change it's position and move it to somewhere else, but I can't modify the object itself.
Is there a setting that I'm missing or so?
It's quite hard to work like that, since I have to use the cut tool, to bring lines to the desired length, etc.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Change lines after creation
Hi, and welcome to the QCAD forum.
The only thing I can think of is marker size and color.
The size can not be less than 4 pixels.
Default colors should not be an issue: Menu Edit .. Application Preferences .. Graphics View .. Colors.
Looking further I can replicate no markers at all with:
Menu Edit .. Application Preferences .. Graphics View .. Appearance .. Display and Performance ..
Maximum selected entities with reference points = 0
Note that when scrolling with the mouse wheel in the Application Preferences it is best to point on/near the vertical scrollbar.
Otherwise wheel scrolling may apply to drop-down lists.
And that may unintentionally change preferences without noticing.
If anything fails then you might want to try: Resetting the QCAD configuration.

Re: Change lines after creation
Thanks a loooooooooot for your help! It was exactly the point with the maximum selected entities. No idea why that was set to zero... I had just downloaded and installed QCAD and definitely didn't change that setting. But now set to 1000 it's working perfectly, thanks again!
