Might be an odd question... but how do I install the Community Edition? I have it downloaded, but I do not see .exe file to begin the installation.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Beginner question
Ok, Windows is my Wheelhouse ....
Download the Community Edition from this Website:
http://www.qcad.org/en/qcad-downloads-trial
For Windows you can use the Installer or the ZIP Archive Version for 32 or 64bit. Make sure the bit Version fits to your System.
The Installer Version is a .msi (Microsoft installer) which will behave similar to an .exe file. After downloading double-click on this file and QCAD Trial will be automatically installed on your Windows System.
If you decide to use the compressed ZIP Archive you have to download it, unzip (or "extract") it and look then for the qcad.exe file in this new created QCAD Folder. Double click on qcad.exe and QCAD Trial will start. Certainly this file can also be linked to a Shortcut ...
