Good morning. Compared to Autocad, hatches in Qcad are more complex. Could you please publish a tutorial on this subject?
Meu sistema operacional é macOs Monterey versão 12.7.6
Minha versão do Qcad Professional é 3.32.2.0 (3.32.2)

Re: HATCH
Hi,
There a two ways to create a Hatch entity in QCAD pro. (3 but the third (HT) is experimental)
Menu Draw .. Hatch .. 'Hatch from Selection...' (HA) (Reference)
Menu Draw .. Hatch .. 'Hatch from Segments...' (HS) (Reference)
For the first method there must be a contour already in selection that is perfectly closed.
Per example a closed polyline but not limited to that, as long as the individual entities connect at endpoints and the whole is closed.
A dialog pops up with tool options and a preview panel displaying the pattern if any.
On OK the Hatch entity is created on the current active layer.
For the second method a pre-existent closed contour must not exits.
First a similar dialog pops up to pre-configure the tool.
Then you must indicate near segments that eventually form the closed contour with an L-click.
A segment is up to an ending or any intersection with another entity in both ways. It turns dark red.
When all are indicated and the contour is perfectly closed then create the Hatch with an R-click.
Again, the Hatch entity is created on the current active layer.
Warnings may be displayed when a contour is not perfectly closed.
Also look at the mouse button tooltips near the mouse icon in the Status Bar, typically lower middle.
These will guide you through any tool.
Regards,
CVH

The Hatches itself are not but creating a Hatch with one click inside an enclosed area (HT) is not yet supported.Jose Eduardo wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 3:45 pmCompared to Autocad, hatches in Qcad are more complex.
