Sending drawings

Post by Cactuslock » Tue Oct 10, 2023 4:13 am

I'm finally comverting from ACAD Lt.
I send text messages from my cell phone. Same with emails. In simple step by step instructions. I complete a drawing. I need to save my drawing to cell phone or figure out texting on home computer that does not have phone. If I try to send to myself home computer has same email address.
example my phone is (555) 112-1111 email [email protected] I want to send to (777) 123-1234 [email protected]

Thank you.
I can see were my question is hard to understand. Say I make a drawing and I want to text ir emai to someone. I'm having problems saving drawing made on home computer and saving in cell phone so that I can text. I can't email from home computer to cellphone as it's both the same email address 🙃

Hi,

I would simply attach the drawing to an email on the home computer and send it from there.
I don't think that SMS can cope with the amount of text in a dxf.
About other mobile Apps I have no information.

If both the home computer and the phone have the same email account then both can access the mail that was send.

Regards,
CVH

Non QCAD related question. Moved to "Chat".

@Cactuslock
If that is something what you have to do on a daily base I recommend to sync those files across your devices. It is easy to set up a shared folder with cloud services like Dropbox etc.

https://www.dropbox.com/features/sync

Basic plan free for ≤ 2 GB storage ...
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
