how do i open older QCAD Version with suffix .pln with the new version into .dxf or dwg? thanks fro Berlin

A .pln file is definitely not from QCAD (also not an older version).
QCAD has been using DXF since version 1 and DXF or DWG since version 3.

thanks andrew, i just looked up my files 2014, 2018 and 2019 all with QCAD and .pln and i can't open them anymore...see atachment, thanks again for checking... maybe you have a hint what i could do?

It looks like you have associated .pln files with the QCAD application. This does not make them QCAD files. You can associate any file type with any application. These are definitely not QCAD files.

sorry andrew, i forgot, was using before libreCAD and it gave up with a newer mac versions... thanks! anyhow i found out: > archicad test version and then save .pln into .dxf....and then open again with QCAD!!
