Copy and paste flips everything

I am having an issue where the drawing flips 180 when I try to copy and paste to another file. I then use 180 angle, which corrects the drawing, but then all the text shows up upside down. Any idea what is going on?

The "Paste" command will also open an option bar. Make sure your settings are correct for "Flip pasted entities" vertically or horizontal.
