Making dotted lines

Post by Scotts » Mon Oct 13, 2008 3:32 pm

Good Morning,
How do I make a dotted line. Right now I can only figure out how to make a solid line. I am drawing an three line electrical diagram and want to make a dotted line for the neutral.

And how do I make a line green as in the ground wire?
Thanks,
Scott

The keyword here is 'layers'. In CAD, line styles (line pattern, color, width) are controlled by the layer. Add a layer for all ground wires, give it the desired attributes and draw all ground wires on that layer.

If you own the book QCAD - An Introduction to Computer-Aided Design, please refer to page 54, the chapter about layers.
