Hi,
I just downloaded QCad this morning, and do not seem to be able to save a drawing. Every time whether choosing "save" or "save as", the program crashes and closes.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Lorna

Crashes when saving
Hi,
I use QCAD 2.2.2.0 and I have the same problem.
When I save a new drawing the program crashes.
When I open an existing drawing an save the changes on a local drive there is no problem.
What can I do to fix this problem?
I look for your response.
Thanks.
Yours faithfully,
Matthias

Re: Crashes when saving
I uninstalled/reinstalled the printer from my computer, and everything seems to work now.

Hi,
I'm sorry, but the printer installation didn't fix the problem.
Are there any other ideas?
Thanks,
Matthias

Crashes when saving
Hi,
I use QCad 2.2.2.0. I used Windows XP Professional and now Windows VISTA Business Edition.
When I use the version 2.2.1.0 there is no problem.
Thanks,
Matthias

Hello,
I posted same problem, though I didn't get any comments on my post at last.
Anyway, when I reset my QCAD by removing QCAD.ini it solved my problem and now it works fine for me.
Worth trying.

Hello again,
I thought resetting had solved my problem but it was only accessing local files.
When I tried to open a file in a network drive (Samba sharing point). It went to crash. (Mouse cursor rotating forever).
What a shame.
It was OK when I was using version 2.2.0.
