[solved] dxf to svg export

Post by Husky » Wed Jan 01, 2020 7:53 am

Hi,

I've a dxf icon and need to export it to svg. The result looks ....... bad. What kind of entities can I use in the dxf to get a proper svg export? Or is it just a setting question?

I found my mistake - a Lineweight of 0.00 doesn't works for a proper svg export ... e_surprised

The layer was set to 0.00
But I can't find any entity that uses the layer Lineweight.
All entities except the tree are polys with widths.
The tree is a hatch.

Besides that, why did the exploded export worked out.
It had the same weight and widths except I had no blocks.

Why it was in reddish is because it was selected while exporting to SVG.
What is a minor flaw. I step in this pitfall every time...
Says more about me... :P

It gets even better:
Without explosion, purely opened the file straight from the forum,
simply advanced SVG export workes out well.

Seems something changed between v23 - v24

Cheers,
