I have 4 printers, of which two are both A4/A3 color, very useful to QCAD. My system default is a simple A4 B/W laser for the usual desktop work.
Unless I missed something, it seems that QCAD always proposes the printer which is the default on my system (Linux Mint here). And requires manual setting again if I open another document.
The only QCAD application wide setting I found is Printer Calibration, but I does not store a printer default setting, it seems.
It would be nice to have a default printer option there (can fallback to system default if the specified printer is not available).
