LibreDWG -SummerOfCode DWG write support

Now that LibreDWG is making progress is Qcad looking at this as a better long term DWG library than the "open" design alliance?

We might look into this once it becomes usable.

That is exiting news.
I only use qcad for basic stuff but have definitely gotten my money's worth.
I think the project would benefit from a developer like yourself and it would be probably worth the time spent in not spending cash on dwg licensing fees.
They have a shortage of testers and complain about not having actual CAD experience.

I noticed Qcad 3 has support now for dwg.
Is it using libredwg or the open design alliance libraries?
Thanks
