Pl. let me know how to create good quality wmf files from dwg files or dxf files ??
The final output file ie. *.wmf file should not alter the shape of the drawing or text in the drawing when it zoomed .
This is very much required to do with the EpaNet software for doing the Water distribution network analysis

There may be programs to directly get you wmf from cad. Not that I know of though. There are several to get you wmf from svg. QCAD dwg/dxf CAD to SVG conversion is best of breed. UniConverter should be as good as you can get for wmf creation. For download and usage instructions refer to http://www.sk1project.org/modules.php?n ... iconvertor - Possibly, also the latest LibreOffice can read svg and write wmf.

anyDWG might be what you are looking for, I have used this in the past to convert DWG files to different formats and at the time it worked OK. There is a free trial to test it out. It states in the 'Key Features' that you can convert DWG files to wmf format.
