"Zoom to selection" shows no effect on vertical and horizontal lines: Message: "No selection found".
Recognizable at:
vertical lines, horizontal lines,
Rectangle, Rectangle with size,
Polygon Center Point, Polygon two corner (only in the case that you have vertical/horizontal lines),
Shapes as a polyline - no problem. ;-)
