A solid fill hatch works as expected in the attached file and prints OK, but after saving the file and reopening, the hatch has disappeared.

There are tiny gaps between the arc, just small enough to be tolerated by QCAD but too large for the OpenDesign libraries or DXF/DWG.
Recreating those smaller arcs at the ends fixed it.
