Tab value specification in Option bar: Lengths 2, Thickness 1
G-code Lengths = 8.35 (in my example), Thickness 1

The length is the tab length + twice the tool radius

Not a bug ... Intended behavior.
The endmill in this example is 6.35 in diameter.
A TAB length of only 2 units long accounted from the center path would leave no retaining bridge at all.
When at X34.61 the cutter has already cleared up to X31.435, Y2.00 is steady.
When the cutter is plunging at X26.26 it also clears behind it up to X29.435.
Then X31.435 - X29.435 = 2.000 ... The requested TAB length.
