Hi,
tested with back_plate.dxf (QCAD Tutorial Example)
Drawing is original mm, metric, A4. Printprewiew works, Autofit Drawing to page etc. works as expected!
In Drawing Preferences: Changed settings to inch, imperial, Ansi A
Printpreview works but options like
"Autofit Drawing to page" and "Autofit pages to drawing" are not working as usual ... ;-)
Went back to mm etc - everything works again as expected.

Additionally:
- Similar issue for 'Print Current View' Ctrl-Alt-P
- Identical behavior after: Save - reload
- Seemingly already an issue with version 3.27.6.0

I now suspect it has to do with the file back_plate.dxf
found in Tutorial: 1.8 Entity Selection
I can not replicate the behavior with a new file created in QCAD.

Please adjust also the page borders under:
Edit > Drawing Preferences > Printing > Multi Pages > Glue Margins
Alternatively, use Edit > Convert Drawing Unit which should take care of that.
