Attempting to use the latest trial release with the DWG file of
https://www.qcad.org/rsforum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=11757
Results in an endless loop exporting debug messages related to all kind of fonts.
Halting even after 3 min of debugs was not really an option.
I managed to save a partial export in the attached TXT file, typical 88 lines.
It can be seen in the attachment that it starts over (again and again).
After a font with a lower case 'w' it continues with again capital 'A'.
The only way to terminate is to end the process.

Look up fonts by installation file name if no family name is given in imported DXF/DWG
Can it be that the list is created for each text based entity?
