When adding or removing additional viewports,an extra unnecessary window of the viewport is created.

I don't think that I have this Problem with XP/32. Just to be sure - can you post a screen shot?

Never mind - you are working with 3.0.7. - I checked 3.0.0

With 3.0.7
I thought this problem was only with win 7, but it seems it's also on win XP and Vista at work!
