FS#2704 - Property Editor: Crash with long update delays [Qt6]

1) open an new file “Unnamed”
2) open a 2nd file with one element (e.g. rectangle) and select rectangle
(use test1.dxf - attached)
3) go back to 1st tab with “Unnamed” file by click on the tab
4) close 2nd file by clicking “X” on the tab
==⇒ QCAD will close without further notice

macOS 26.2 Tahoe

I couldn't reproduce this problem here so far.

Can you please confirm which exact package you are using (file name of downloaded installer)?

Robert Strubegger commented on 22.01.2026 11:26

I did not keep the installer file, sorry. Now I received the announcement for version 3.32.6 on macOs. I will try to reproduce there.

Robert Strubegger commented on 22.01.2026 11:41

Installed: qcadcam-3.32.6-pro-macos-12.7-26-qt6-arm64.dmg now
I can reproduce it with 3.32.6. See attached video.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I still cannot reproduce the problem here.
Maybe you can attach the crash report which might hold a clue, thanks.

Here the crash report
such a crash report is not produced each time. It just happens direct after restart of Mac a couple of times. Later QCAD closes without crash report. - this as a little hint.
