Description

Section titled “Description”

Breaks out a gap from a line, arc, circle, ellipse, ellipse arc, spline or polyline.

Usage

Section titled “Usage”
  • Pick the entity from which you wish to break out a gap.
  • Click the center of the gap on the entity.

QCAD Professional

Section titled “QCAD Professional”
  • In QCAD Professional, gaps can also be broken out from ellipses, ellipse arcs, splines and polylines.
  • The gap is centered at the chosen point and its length is measured along the entity.
  • Breaking out a gap from a closed entity (circle, ellipse, closed spline or closed polyline) results in a single open entity.
  • If the option “One click” is checked in the options toolbar, the gap is broken out at the position where you click the entity. There is no need to click the center of the gap separately.
